Bingo
For many years Bingo has played an important social and financial role in the parish and serves both neighbors and parishioners in socialization and fellowship. We have a group of dedicated volunteers who call numbers, sell Bingo cards, specials, refreshments, and who assist in many ways to make this night a success. We offer Bingo on Monday nights year round. Some religious holydays may cause a cancellation, but these are announced the week prior.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic men's fraternal organization in the world. It has built Catholic communities, fed the poor, and defended the vulnerable. Love of the church and country define who the Knights of Columbus are. Charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism are the watchwords of this organization. We at Our Lady of Lourdes Council #11241 organize functions to raise money to support our church, the church ministries, and the community with donations, and volunteer our services to make other church and community organizations succeed in their missions. To all men of our parish: you will like this fraternity. We are a very active council and we always welcome new or transferred brothers.
Maintenance
If you would like to help in maintaining the beauty of our parish grounds, we need you! Volunteers are needed in areas of landscaping, painting and general help. The time you donate is the time you have available. We are always looking for help during the Christmas season in constructing, preparing and also the removal and storage of the many holyday decorations. If you are interested in joining our hurricane preparedness team, please contact the parish manager.
